through alarmed double doors
I woke up
in Maternity Ward

wasn't working

worked all morning

reaching out
to touch my nose
and make me sneeze
the Lord gave his sun to me

I restocked the gloves
in every size
I picked up the crates
and opened my eyes

to praise Him
