Sub-par rock stars - with out-of-tune guitars

As I flip though the stations on my radio
Not this, not that, what's the difference
It's the same ten songs I already know

Consultants make their little list
No wonder that it's come to this

Teen queens with a ten minute future
Rap acts known to the prosecuters
White kids who whine like a loser
And rant and rave, pretend they're mad
Then cash those checks from dear old dad

All that I want is just to hear something that's real

Instead of:
Baggy pantsed boy groups - dancin' with drum loops
Quantized hip jive - gets by MIDIfied
Real cool gene pools - who have to use Protools
